I am writing this email to sincerely thank you for the excellent advise you gave me regarding my implant encapsulation. Had I not been offered a "free fix" by my original surgeon, I definitely would have booked my surgery with you! I am so glad that I had a consultation with you and as a result I was able to speak with my plastic surgeon and arrange the "gold standard" of care for my 3rd encapsulation surgery. I am now two weeks post-op and feel like I have a better chance this time round thanks to your sound advise. We went with a different incision site and a new implant as you suggested. After the surgery my plastic surgeon said that we made the "right decisions" based on what he found inside the pocket. I can't help but wonder why he wasn't going to go with the gold standard until I requested it, but thanks to you I am confident that this time the surgery has corrected the problem and I can get back to enjoying my life instead of going under the knife! I am very grateful for the treatment that received upon being a patient of Dr. Pickart. Upon first entering the office, I was greeted by a very welcoming and professional staff that helped me immensely during a very challenging experience. Upon receiving the diagnosis that I had a form of skin cancer, I honestly was very scared about what would happen next. I figured that by the look on my face on the day of my first visit, the office staff understood this and seemed to go out of their way to educate me and to be supportive as well as sympathetic.
